This appears to have reduced the amount of I/O wait during a mapping activity running one at a time. We are seeing how this works, with checkpoint_segments and checkpoint_timeout values that are higher than the defaults, and a completion target that is a little higher than the default, but lower than 0.90, where we once had it. We look forward to any feedback that can be provided on these values.
