  • Explore the creation of an agile library-owned organization that can respond to the data and trends around library eBooks

  • Offer recommendations on how this organization can effectively and sustainably govern the marketplace

Deliverables

  • Create a recommendation for possible governance structures for a national organization to govern LEAP marketplace and other pieces of national digital platform

    • Suggest possible governance mechanisms distributed on a timeline recommending at what stage of operational maturity and milestone each should be reached 

      • Suggest the potentially appropriate power of each mechanism starting with steering committee

    • Goal statement - 5 things that governing org should have

      • Mission, values

    • Draft white paper of recommendations to hand out to governing board, including milestones and sample timeline
